The Hocus Pocus Project is very pleased to have been profiled in The New York Times! The article will be in the papers this Sunday and focuses on our teaching/outreach program in the various juvenile detention centers throughout the city. This is one of our most important efforts, as we get kids interested in working hard on positive skills that they can use to build confidence and establish means to positively interact with their peers and authority figures. This has benefits that reach far beyond being able to perform a few brilliant effects and into their work in school and social interactions.
